Healing our human nation

On the first day of December we have marked this day to remember

To light up our candles and lead the way

From all four corners of the globe and wearing red ribbons on our robes

A small price as a token of awareness to pay

To take care of our loved ones remembering the frail and the sick branch

And helping and getting some more time we pray

For we are as the weakest link

If they can’t get help, they’ll drag us to sink

Hence the need to stop and think

Let’s love one another and care for your brother

We should reach out and help and humble the self

Like He gave water to the dead ones and health to the leper

He reached out to the needy and healed the broken hearted

He graced us with His love

He loves us with His grace

This is the example that we have to follow

For those who follow, we have to be this example

If we can do this daily, it will aid with the ailing

Of our human nation on our earthly station

My Humble Eyes

I want to elevate my eyes

To the heavens above the sky

But the humility in mine heart

Won’t allow my eyes to look up

Or my mind to fly so high

Who is going to help me?

How am I going to break free?

I want to lift mine eyes to see

My eyes shine to be blameless

In seeking for your light

My heart long for your meekness

And struggling in the plight

My soul yearns after your closeness

In striving to be right

I know where my help comes from

Please lead me from the dark?

And Keep me

Close to your heart

My Pride Filled Eyes

I want to lower my eyes

To the ground beneath my feet

But the pride in mine heart

Won’t allow my eyes to look down

Or my knees bowed to the ground

He is going to help me

I am going to break free

I’ll bow my head and bend my knees

I wish my eyes could be filled with innocence

And steering clear from the dark

And for my heart to long for your diffidence

And finally hitting the mark

Hoping my soul could yearn for your imminence

And igniting a long loving spark

Where will my help come from

Won’t you please lead me from the dark?

Keep me please

So close to your heart

Re-post of Once Upon a Cross

My Hands I Wash In Inno Cents
The Rules That Is Was To Be Bent
The Cross He Bear To Sin Nowhere
The Nails He Felt The Pain That Melt
The Spear That Hit His Flesh So Sore
Is That Worse Than The Crown He Wore

The Vin-I-Ger He Had To Drink
So Sour, I Couldn`t Even Think
His Flesh That’s Torn A – part
This Could Only Break The Father`S Heart
All These Things His Mother Saw
He Shouts Out Like A Lion`S Raw

My God Why Have Thine Forsaken Me
He Thought Of You And Of Me
The Darkness Filled The Earth So Wide
The Curtain Tore And Fell Aside
Then They Realized The Mistake
By Now, It`S All – Ready To Late

Upon A Cross Hang A Bod
Behold He Is The Son Of God

Weather Malformed

As the storms hit the Western Cape

They all try to make

A great escape

But it was a bit too late

It’s building to an emergency state

As the rain came down

With thunderous sounds

We were all in house bound

And the walls were shaking from the ground

In a nervous state we were found

This weekend’s floods

And falls of muds

Did Pretty much

Scare us As such

As roads were smudged

It’s taken us by storm

It’s beyond our summer norm

We had to stay in our dorms

Round this time it’s normally warm

Seems like the weather’s malformed

Oh please send help

Where is Michael Phelps

To reach out to the shouts of yelps

As the roads start to melt

We have to save the whelps

Thank you at last

With one siren blast

The weather man forecast

That it had now come to pass

We can finally hold on to the mast

Freed By His Amazing Love

By Law, By Grace

I Want To Complete The Amazing Race

With The Command From Above,

Are We Freed By His Love.

Should We Give By Grace,

We Should Give By Choice.

Did The Scribes Not See

What Was Meant For You And Me?

We Should Not Give By Will Of Law

Jesus Showed Us Much, Much More

If You’re A Child Of Him,

You Are Freed From Tithing

Pastors, Leaders, Should Teach The Truth,

Jesus Came And Freed Us For Good.

We Should Not Cling To The Laws Of The Book.

He Set Us Free, Now We’re Off The Hook !

What if His people prayed

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Back in the days of the Israelites and the close walk (or not) with God, they received an instructions, they received advice. If I think about this advice, it can very well be applied in our daily lives.

So many times when we’ve made mistakes, when we’ve done some things that we could’ve done better or when we realise that our actions were not pure or clean, when these thoughts come to mind, we ask the question ‘what if’. What if I did it differently?

Today, we have the opportunity, and sadly so our country finds it self in a state of dismay. We have politicians following the hunger of their own greed, lives of little one’s taken away, people giving into their angry and darkness nature. We have freedom that’s not real – the lives of children, women, teenagers, elderly people been taken away like a piece of bread thrown to a dog. Is our life not worth much more?

When switching on the television, the radio – the news and actuality programs reports on matters that’s scary, matters that are amplified and magnified by the day. Drugs are ruining our future, or what is left of it – of those who are still sane, they care not enough about their family, let alone their neighbours.

Our hands are tied.

Our leaders, being it political, spiritual, corporate and the likes have only one thing in mind (and in common) – they care about the bottom line only, their bottom line, they have the balances; and what do the rest have? Well, they have nothing, even less than nothing, their hands are tied. As the saying goes, money makes the world go round; who is the guy said ‘one who dies with the most toys wins’?

If I may. I have but one request, if we can’t stand together – surely we can pray together. A famous saying goes like this, ‘ a family that prays together stays together’; if we are brothers and sisters in Almighty God, if we are all God’s children, is it not about time to pray together as a family?

Our prayer today should be for Ourselves, Our families, our friends, our colleagues, our employers, our acquaintances, our neighbourhoods, our townships, our provinces, our countries, our leaders.

Today I pray for Ourselves, Our families, Our friends, Our colleagues, Our employers, Our acquaintances, Our neighbourhoods, Our townships, Our provinces, Our countries, Our leaders. I pray that God will help us, release us from the evil, lead us away from temptations, and take care of us on every possible level. I pray that we will humble ourselves, and pray, and seek God’s face, and turn from our wicked ways.  Then God will hear from heaven, and then God will forgive our sin, and heal our land.

Below are the lyrics from a Casting Crowns song:

What if His people prayed

What if the armies of the Lord
Picked up and dusted off their swords
Vowed to set the captives free
And not let Satan have one more

What if the church for heaven’s sake
Finally stepped up to the plate
Took and stand upon God’s promise
And stormed hell’s rusty gates

What if His people prayed
And those who bear His name
Would humbly seek His face
And turn from their own way

And what would happen if we prayed
For those raised up to lead the way
Then maybe kids in school could pray
And unborn children see light of day

What if the life that we pursue
Came from a hunger for the truth
What if the family turned to Jesus
Stopped asking Oprah what to do

What if His people prayed
And those who bear His name
Would humbly seek His face
And turn from their own way

He said that they would hear
His promise has been made
He’s answered loud and clear, Yeah
If only we would pray

If My people called by My name
If they’ll humble themselves and pray
If My people called by My name
If they’ll humble themselves and pray

What if His people prayed
And those who bear His name
Would humbly seek His face, Yeah
And turn from their own way

He said that they would hear
His promise has been made
He’s answered loud and clear, Yeah
If only we would pray

What if His people prayed

My stormy life

I’m lying in my bed so sad,

Things had got me down so bad.

Then I heard a whisper in my ear,

Saying you don’t have to fear.

Do you know who I am-?

I am the great I am*

Than I thought I’m going mad-

But after all I didn’t feel so sad.

He brought the peace like the dove “at ease”.

The rush, he took out of me,

And made me calm – unlike the stormy sea*

He is always here for us,

Even though we always in such a rush,

Jesus always has the time,

To be with us and make things fine*

I allowed him to step into my stormy life

And I get in return a prince of peace

As Typhoon Haiyan Hits

As the typhoon Haiyan hits back in the Philippines

I don’t know how to describes these hectic scenes

It reminds the globe of two thousand and four

When the Tsunami came to take away scores

Like a tsunami

She came to destroy with a big wave

Be wary in Vietnam!

Be on alert and please be safe

As a gashing speeding wind of three one three k’s

Rushed through this place

What could they do?

In searching of missing loved ones and stuff

One could just sense the deep heart ache and loss

The smell of the dead seems to travel at high

I can’t think right now, weighed down by the cries

While queuing and waiting for water and rice

I saw all I could see in their eyes

But all I could there, was standing in awe

The bodies were flowing and scenes disarray
