Purple day

It was a purple day
When the Prince had to pay
His life forward for the Queen to stay

Did the Prince die of flu,
Or did his contract become overdue
Well, who can say, we have not a clue

Just like a purple nebular
The world says goodbye to a star
It was probably ‘his time’ by far

While at the grounds of castle,
It’s a matter of birthday planning
And down in the park,
It’s a matter of estate planning

Dressed in flowers so royal purple
Just like the ‘rain’ in Niagra’s ripple
The lady, the first have a smile no dimples

Michael went in June of two double o nine,
Prince in March, when the doc said he was fine
And Liz keeps on going, no stopping on her mind

Did the queen choose the day of the prince?
Did the prince take the place of the queen?
With Michael and Michelle in between!

I lay my head down

Where do I lay my head down tonight?

Will we have a pillow fight?

Do i go down or give it all my might?

Or do i walk away and out of sight?

Fight all you have to, but don’t you bite!

They will try and give you a fright,

But keep your friends close and enemies in sight.

Stick together from dusk till the break of light
